Eight key areas

BCI focuses on eight key areas. Each domain distinct from another but in practice closely interlinked.

Our areas of work

  • Supply Chain Strategy: Within all production, wholesale and logistics companies, the set-up and organization of the supply chain is vital. BCI Global translates your business strategy in a feasible supply chain strategy. BCI’s service offering includes all aspects to develop and properly implement the right supply chain strategy through solid research and a feasible operating model. Our focus, as a supply chain consultant, is delivering results.
  • Transport & Logistics: A high-quality transport network is more than just the lowest rate on each individual lane. As transportation costs represent a significant share of the overall supply chain spend in many companies, frequently reviewing the transport network, related carrier base and tariff structures are key. The benefits of such an initiative are a reduced freight bill and a more balanced transport network with an optimal CO2 footprint.
  • Location strategy and Location & Site Selection: One of your key strategic decisions is selecting the right location for your operations. You are making new investments in land, buildings, equipment and talent for the long term. As the global business environment in which you need to make a location decision is becoming more uncertain every day, it is crucial to make a robust and future proof selection of a location.
  • Manufacturing Footprint Optimization: Optimizing your manufacturing footprint is more important than ever before. Global uncertainties and disruptions are driving many companies to determine how to prepare their manufacturing footprint for the future from for example the perspectives of cost, risk and sustainability.
  • Real Estate: Investing in corporate real estate requires a long-term strategic view. Whether you are a logistics or industrial real estate developer or an investor the current uncertain environment requires you to do a thorough analysis before deciding to make the next investment. Doing this, it is essential that you base your real estate strategy on thorough and comprehensive analyses of economic trends, insights in the performance and dynamics of the real estate and capital markets, understanding of current and future end-user trends and developments and forecasting regional dynamics.
  • Location Marketing: The economic environment around you is changing fast. In this evolving landscape you want to remain attractive for already established companies, but also to offer a strong proposition for new economic activities. To position your region, city or location as an interesting place to do business, it is critical to have a solid marketing strategy and a comprehensive, focused marketing plan.
  • Economic Development & Infrastructure: The economic structure of a city, region or country is in a perpetual state of change. Shifting economies on a global scale, increasing ESG regulations, technological and labor market developments accelerate these changes and raise new challenges for policy makers.
  • Transformation & Implementation: Developing a plan or strategy is one side of the coin. Successful implementing or even transforming your supply chain a different one.
