De Kleine Consultant

About us

De Kleine Consultant is the first non-profit strategy consulting agency in the Netherlands that is run by enterprising top students. De Kleine Consultant provides strategic advice where it creates the most impact, mainly on start-ups, non-profit organizations and social SMEs. The organization was founded in early 2008 and has already carried out more than 300 projects with approximately 700 alumni in 8 cities in the Netherlands and London. The objectives of De Kleine Consultant are based on a win-win-win situation: we add value by offering students a steep learning curve, experience and a network on a professional and personal level;

From the start, the professional consulting world has responded positively. The Dutch office Quintel Strategy Consulting soon offered to supervise De Kleine Consultant intensively. When Quintel was taken over by AT Kearney in 2010, they became the main partner. In this way they supply coaches who supervise the projects and train the new project managers. In addition, The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company and Strategy & also are coaching partners, which means that each round assigns some of their professionals as the coach of a project. For example, the project teams have professional support, a sparring partner and the students can learn from a top consultant. Besides coaching partners, there are still strategy partners, they provide external training with which they respond to the needs of De Kleine Consultant as an organization. The strategy partners are: Accenture, Roland Berger and Oliver Wyman. In the legal field they are assisted by De Brauw Blacksone Westbroek.
